Why do men only show affection when they want to have ?

Mine and my husbands one year anniversary is coming up soon and he only shows me affection when he wants to have . Then it's wham bam thank you mam and he rolls over and goes to bed. Can someone give me some insight onto what's going wrong here? It kind of makes me feel like i'm carrying out a chore to him when he does that to me and makes me not want to have with him. Anyone have any advice? We do have two kids.
