Is it unrealistic to want a loving relationship?

I am a romantic kind of guy(sue me), and all my life, I have wanted to have the kind of relationship with a girl where, we trust each other, we care for each other, and we respect each other in every way. I like to cuddle, kiss, be sweet, and listen to love songs a lot. I like the girl that I'm with to feel like she can depend on me. People tell me all the time that I'd make an awesome boyfriend, and yet, (Pfft) Nothing. I haven't had a lot of luck in that department. I see lucky couples all over the place who have a relationship like this. AND, I see movies all the time that portray two people having wonderful, extraordinary relationships. I feel very disappointed and sad because all I want is a relationship that's as romantic, and as loving, and as magical as those. You won't believe this, but I'm actually crying as I'm writing this. Is it terribly unrealistic to want a loving, happy relationship? Is there hope for me?
