AVS video editor 4, is it worth it?

I downloaded and have been using avs video editor 4 and I think it's great. It's simple, quick, and easy. But I'm not sure if I want to spend $60 on it without knowing anyone else's point of view on the software. Is it worth the money? Is it a scam?
