I am devastated, my grandpa has pancreatic cancer....I have so many questions..?

I don't know if I am in denial, but his doctor told my grandma that he has a tumor on his pancreas that they are going to biopsy on 2/15. They told my grandma that surgery is not an option. That it's a masitize...don't know how to spell it...tumor. He had his kidney removed 7 years ago, from kidney cancer. He has Alzheimer's disease, so he isn't able to tell if he is in pain. I asked a similar question on here before.. So, I guess I need closure....is it cancer? How long does he have left?
