How do I get it to play?

Recently I bought a course on how to play the piano. It came with a DVD that I am able to insert into my computer and view. When I inserted it into the computer, the computer made the whirring sound but nothing came up to allow me to view and use it. How do I get the start page of the DVD to come up on the computer so I can use the piano learning program?
